Method & Rivals

Before building, we researched whether similar products already exist. The verdict: many related tools, but none that focus and integrate “AI market + legendary investors + long-term investing”. Here is the landscape and where we fit.

Competitor research: what already exists

AI stock pickers / research tools

Prospero.aiTrendSpiderAltIndexTrade IdeasGainifyFiscal.ai

Gap: Mostly black-box AI scores and short-term signals — they tell you “what to buy” but rarely “why”, with little long-term education.

Superinvestor / 13F trackers

Gap: They list an investor’s entire portfolio, but are not organized around the AI theme and rarely explain the reasoning behind each position.

Chinese all-in-one trading apps

同花顺东方财富雪球新浪财经富途牛牛

Gap: Large all-in-one trading/quote platforms whose AI assistants focus on news read-outs and screening — not a focused “AI theme + legendary investors + long-term education” hub.

Gap: Rich but scattered articles on AI stocks — no structured, continuously-tracked “theme hub”, and not bilingual.

How we are different

1

Focused integration: ①AI market layers + ②legends’ AI positioning and reasoning + ③long-term education in one structured hub — a combination none of the incumbents offer.

2

Explains the “why”, not trading signals: every view comes with reasoning and public sources, with no black-box predictions.

3

Bilingual and long-term by design: serves Chinese and global readers, turning long-term discipline into an actionable checklist.

4

Compliance-first: every figure is dated with an “as of” label and disclaimer — clearly education, not advice.

Compass Consensus Score (CCS) methodology

CCS quantifies the tracked legends’ disclosed positioning on each stock into an explainable 0–100 score. The formula is fully public:

CCS = holdersScore + actionScore + diversityBonus  (0–100)
· holdersScore  = 12 × holders (≤48)
· actionScore   = Σ [new +12 · add +10 · hold +4 · trim −8 · exit −12] ∈ [−20, +40]
· diversityBonus = +12 when holders span ≥3 style buckets (value/growth/macro)
  • · Bands: ≥80 strong / 60–79 consensus / 40–59 split / <40 weak. Cross-style agreement (e.g. value and growth investors holding the same name) carries more information than one school agreeing with itself — hence the bonus.
  • · Data refreshes each 13F season; every period’s snapshot is retained, accumulating a back-testable consensus time series — this site’s proprietary data asset.
  • · CCS is an educational analytic reflecting the legends’ collective actions; it does not predict prices and is not investment advice.

Data & method

  • · Holdings come from public sources (quarterly SEC 13F filings and reporting), curated to illustrate reasoning rather than list a full portfolio; each is dated with an “as of” label.
  • · Content is static today, with a reserved live-data interface (MarketDataProvider): a quotes / 13F API can be plugged in later without changing any page.
  • · Optional live quotes are provided by Finnhub (proxied via a Cloudflare Pages Function); quotes are delayed and for reference only, showing “—” when no key is configured.
  • · The entire site is educational; it offers no personalized advice or trading signals.
  • · Monetization disclosure: the “open an account” sections contain referral links, and we may earn a commission from sign-ups; this does not influence our content. Newsletter emails are used only to send updates — never sold or shared.
